The first ever Arab Social Media Forum (ASMF) is taking place today, Saturday, December 11, in Amman. Many well-known figures from the social media and technology world have gathered in Jordan’s capital to discuss online sharing, social networking, and how social media is changing how people communicate in the Arab world.
Being a social media conference, the event can be followed online using a range of social media tools. The event is being covered second-by-second on Twitter using the hashtag #ASMF2010. The event is also being streamed live on UStream and at www.jordandays.tv.
The ASMF (no surprise) has a Facebook page and their own Twitter stream (@ASMFnews).
Hibr is uploading photos from the event onto Flickr.
