Creative Commons is a phenomenal tool to help people share, create, and distribute content, and it can be a powerful tool for civil society (non-profit organizations), academic institutions (schools or universities), public sector agencies, or private-sector businesses.

Here at Hibr, we license almost all of our content under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license, meaning that people can use our content without asking our permission as long as they:
• let people know where it comes from (www.hibr.me, or the specific page on the site),
• that they don't sell the content or use it for other commercial purposes (if you are interested in this, please contact us), and
• that if they use any of this content, mix (remix) it with other content, adapt it, or modify it, the new content that is created should be licensed under the same Creative Commons license.

More than just *using* Creative Commons in our work, we are big advocates for Creative Commons. We include sessions on Creative Commons in (almost) all of our trainings, and more.

We'll be adding more information, presentations, and materials here soon.

If you have any questions, or want to contact us more about our use or promotional or advocacy activities related to Creative Commons, please contact us at < creativecommons (at) hibr.me >.
